The therapeutic relationship is a partnership, and I’m committed to working collaboratively to support positive change and emotional growth. My approach is a blend of trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and evidence-based techniques. I am passionate about creating a strong therapeutic alliance with you, where we can explore your strengths and collaborate on finding solutions together, in a judgement-free environment. My goal is to give you a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions in our sessions.
My therapy style is conversational, compassionate and collaborative. In the early stages of our sessions, we will use traditional talk therapy and then tailor the approach based on your needs. I use neuroscience-informed techniques like Mindfulness and Somatic exercises. I also use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, EMDR and Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) as methods of processing trauma.
I am here to help you break free of any cycles that no longer serve you, develop new ways of relating to yourself and others, and build capacities for inner strength and resilience.
